Let's ensure the MD doesn't die! I own a MZ B100 I bought in Japan. Great for musicians because it has an internal speaker, mic', plus provision for line out and ext. mic'. For transferring to computer, I'd go with one of the Net MD series. Mine will allow me to transfer tons of tracks from CD with the supplied software.
Question: What do you guys pay for blank Mini Discs, say, 80 min. in length (real time)? Unless I go to Canal Street in New York (or Japan, where you can buy ten "Neige" 80's for ten dollars), I find they're getting pricey. Any recommendations for mail order blank MDs?

There's an important distinction that needs to be made here about the minidisc models, excluding the new models (HI-MD). On previous models if you make a live recording of a band or your practice, the only way to transfer that live recording is in real time via the Line out on the MD unit. This is why someone mentioned that a 60 minute recording would take 60 minutes to dub. If you're speaking about music that originates from a CD or your computer, then you can transfer the music to a minidisc at 32x. This is extermemly fast and easy to do. The sound quality is also amazing. I was paritcularly impressed with the low frequency response. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify for some that may not understand, basically if the sound comes in from the mic input, then you're for ced to dub it in real time (old school double tape recorder mode) on your pc.
That all changed with the new models though. Withe the HI-MD, you can upload live music via the usb cable and the discs are 1 GB.

The one I have for sale is a not the new types but one that came out right before the new ones. I'll be using Pay Pal as MOP. I didn't mean for this to turn into a big discussion either, I just thought I'd give the HODers a shot at this before I put it up somewhere else, like an auction.
Chris, it sounds like the format of the songs aren't correct for the program to read. Either that or the database is corrupted. I love my MD, I dont' think it's a pain at all.
